Mixed emotions about it tbh. In the poll thread I voted against arms being remoded, for political reasons. I like arms as a poster, but I was hoping to get some more atheists into R&S. It certainly won't keep me from working with Arms, and I hope it won't sour his opinion of me.

Sorry to turn this into ask a black mod, but seriously, what the fuck is up with all my black employees bringing up jesus all the time? You lived here before, what the fuck is it? I grew up in the south, lots of christians, never had people be so confused at what an atheist is.
At first i'd be like, yeah i don't believe in jesus, like i say to most christians. Black kids have like a thousand follow up questions though.
Now i'm just like 'cool bro, yeah, jesus and shit, church. BIBLES!'
and that seems to work fine and end the conversation.

Black Americans have always been like that, it's from slavery. Obey thy master's will or burn in hell (or stuffed in a barrel with nails in it and rolled down a hill) and whatnot. Instillation of fear/forced ignorance served to maintain a docile, servile populace. Old superstitions brought over from Africa or inherited from Anglo-Saxons thrown into the mix makes for many black people believing in silly shit, especially with those who are descended from recent Southern migrants. My dad's family has been in Massachusetts since the War of 1812 and is descended from a first generation African that ran away, so I didn't have all that bullshit, we didn't have time to absorb it, lol.
